MEMBERSHIP

I am a Garden member, how do I get my member price?

In order to receive your member benefits, you need to create a Garden Gift Shop account and link it to your existing Garden membership. If you have already done so, you may login to your Garden Gift Shop account and automatically receive your member benefits.

How do I link my Garden member number to my online account?

To use your Garden membership online, please follow these steps to create your account:

  • Visit My Account/Login
  • Enter your email address on record
  • Select "No, I'd like to register"
  • Select "Sign in"
  • Enter the zip code associated with your membership
  • Verify your email address and select a password to complete your account setup.

My email address was not recognized on the sign in page, but I am a member

The email entered may not match our records. Please contact us at membership@japanesegarden.com or giftstore@japanesegarden.com or follow these steps to create your account:

  • Visit My Account/Login
  • Enter your email address
  • Select "No, I'd like to register"
  • Select "Sign in"
  • Enter your name and confirm your email address
  • Enter your Member Number (this is found on the back of your membership card)
  • Designate a password and select "Creat Account" to complete your account setup

I am unable to link my Garden member number, but have already created an account

If you have created a Garden Gift Shop account but forgot to link your member number or simply experienced difficulty linking your garden member number, please contact us at membership@japanesegarden.com or giftstore@japanesegarden.com

     Please note: If you have not visited the Garden Gift Shop's website since April 2013, you will need to create a new account.

How do I find my membership number?

Your member number is located on the back of your membership card. If you do not have this available, please contact us at membership@japanesegarden.com or giftstore@japanesegarden.com



How long does it take to receive my membership packet?

You should receive your membership materials around 10 business days after you place your order. However, your membership is active as soon as you purchase it. Take advantage of your member benefits online by logging in or at the Garden Gift Shop with a sales receipt or valid ID.

What online promotions are available to me as a Member?

Garden members always receive a discount on store products, general admission tickets, and event tickets unless otherwise noted. When logged in as a member, the prices displayed on products and tickets are displayed with your Member Discount included.

When active, additional promotional information will be listed here.

EVENT & ADMISSION TICKETS

I am a Garden member, how do I get my member discount on event tickets?

Members must log in to receive member priced tickets. If you have linked your membership number with your Garden Gift Shop account, your tickets will automatically display with the member price when logged in.

I cannot find my eTicket

To access your eTicket after placing your order:

  • Follow the unique link provided in your Order Confirmation email
  • Your eTicket link may require you to login again
  • Click "Download and Print"
  • Depending on your browser settings, your eTicket will automatically begin downloading or prompt you to download. Your eTicket is downloaded as a PDF document.

Can I load my eTicket onto my phone?

Yes! We encourage the reduction of paper waste.

Please be sure to download your eTicket onto you phone or mobile device before visiting. Your Order Confirmation is not valid for admittance. To download your eTicket:
  • Follow the unique link provided in your Order Confirmation email
  • Your eTicket link may require you to login again
  • Click "Download and Print"
  • Depending on your browser settings, your eTicket will automatically begin downloading or prompt you to download. Your eTicket is downloaded as a PDF document.
  • Open your PDF on your phone before visiting the Garden to verify that it has downloaded.

How is my event or admission ticket sent to me?

Tickets for Garden events purchased online are available as eTickets or will call. This choice may be made when purchasing the ticket.

Admission tickets are only available as eTickets.

I bought a ticket to an event that I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, all event tickets are non-refundable.

It's raining! Is my event still happening?

Garden events are typically held rain or shine. However if inclement weather forces us to close the Garden, you will be notified and refunded the cost of your ticket.

I bought a ticket to an event happening on several dates. Can I attend on a different night?

Tickets to events at the Garden may not be transferred to a different date.

May I have a wedding, commitment ceremony, reception, etc. at the Garden?

To protect the Gardenís tranquility, authenticity, and environment, we do not allow weddings, commitment ceremonies, or receptions at the Garden.

May I bring my child to Garden events?

Quiet, well-behaved children are welcome at Garden events unless otherwise specified in the event details. Tickets are required for all event attendees over the age of 5.

 

SHIPPING

How much will my order cost to ship?

Your shipping cost is automatically calculated during checkout. Your shipping cost is based on your total purchase plus any additional "oversize" charges. Items which are large, heavy or fragile may include an oversize charge. Scarves, jewelry, koi banners and many more retail products ship free and will be noted when shopping.

Memberships and gift cards always ship free.

When will my order arrive?

Orders for Garden Gift Shop product are shipped within 1-4 days. Orders are delivered within a total of 2-12 business days depending on your location. The Garden Gift Shop reserves the right to select the most appropriate delivery method. Product orders are most commonly shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Please see the Delivery Estimates map below.

You should receive your Membership materials around 10 business days after your order is placed. Your membership is active as soon as you purchase it.

If your order contains both a Membership and a combination of store products or gift cards, it may require additional processing time as everything will be shipped together.

Can I have my order shipped faster?

We would be happy to upgrade your shipping to a faster delivery method. Please contact us at (503)223-5055. Additional charges will apply.

Membership materials cannot be processed or shipped faster. But please contact us and we can offer alternatives.

I did not receive tracking information for my order

Unfortunately we cannot offer shipping confirmation for all Garden Gift Shop purchases. When available, confirmation or tracking information is sent to the email address provided. Generally, orders which ship free will not include this information. If you have specific questions, please contact us at giftstore@japanesegarden.com

 

ORDERING

I received an error when ordering. Was I charged? Was my order accepted?

Please contact us as soon as possible at (503)223-5055 or giftstore@japanesegarden.com. The more detail you can provide about your order, the quicker we will be able to help.

I am not receiving my member discount, although I am logged in as member

When logged in as a Member, the prices displayed on products and events are displayed with your Member Discount included. If you feel there is a discount error, please contact us at giftstore@japanesegarden.com

I am unable to place my order to an international address

We are sorry, at this time we cannot take international orders. But we are happy to help by phone at (503) 223-5055

Oops! I need to change or cancel my order

Please contact us as soon as possible at (503)223-5055 or giftstore@japanesegarden.com. Orders are generally processed within one business day, so sooner the better.

Do you gift wrap?

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to offer gift wrapping. However, you may indicate a gift message at checkout. Your gift message will appear on the packing slip that ships with your order. Packing slips do not contain pricing information and can act as a sales receipt should your recipient need to return an item. Gift messages indicated with membership purchases will be included with mailed membership materials.

Please note: gift messages indicated with admission or event ticket purchases are not included with your order, as tickets are issued in the form of eTickets connected to the email address used with your order.

 

RETURNS & DAMAGES

My order arrived damaged

Please contact us within seven days of receiving your order to claim damaged or missing items. You may contact us at (503) 223-5055 or giftstore@japanesegarden.com. When possible, please include a photo of the damaged items and original packaging condition. This will help expedite your claim. Claims are processed on a case-by-case basis. A pre-paid shipping label or other means of credit may be issued.

I want to return an item

You may return Garden Gift Shop products within 30 days of receiving your order. Shipping costs incurred on return shipments will not be credited. Returns are also accepted directly at our Garden Gift Shop with original packing list, order confirmation or sales receipt.
