Over 1400 years ago, a large piece of fragrant driftwood washed ashore on the tiny Japanese island of Awaji. Locals presented it as a gift to Empress Suiko, and thus began an appreciation for what we now know as incense.
Notes of sandalwood, patchouli, and benzoin grace the playful scent named Nokiba (Moss Garden), creating a lighthearted mood like background music.
Made in Japan by Shoyeido who has operated from their Kyoto location for over 300 years.
30 sticks; 8.75" long.
Incense ships free.">
