Over 1400 years ago, a large piece of fragrant driftwood washed ashore on the tiny Japanese island of Awaji. Locals presented it as a gift to Empress Suiko, and thus began an appreciation for what we now know as incense.
Created to inspire the inner spirit, this rich fragrance named Kyo-nishiki (Kyoto Autumn Leaves) contains sandalwood and a touch of cinnamon and is one of our most popular scents.
Made in Japan by Shoyeido who has operated from their Kyoto location for over 300 years.
30 sticks; 8.75" long.
Incense ships free.">
